In the last months, I have been the guest of the BGH in Hamburg and wish to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and great support I have received here.
It has been a privilege to be able to spend this time at the oldest Buddhist Society in Germany and at least one of the oldest in Europe, where famous names from all over the world have resided and taught the Dhamma. People like Paul Debes, Hellmuth Hecker, Ayya Khema and more recently Ajahn Brahm, just to name a few.
I have been able to practice meditation and take part in various Dhamma-groups, one of which has been meeting for over 50 years! The BGH is truly a precious jewel and I hope it will continue for many years to come.
